About the Wrinklebottoms
The Wrinklebottoms is a small Sphynx cattery established in 2021, breeding for dominant odd eyes — one blue eye and one gold or green — alongside temperament and health. The household is FeLV and FIV negative, DNA tested for 40+ genetic predispositions, and scanned for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) rather than assumed clear, and every cat lives in the house rather than in a cattery block, so kittens grow up used to being handled, bathed and dressed. Our cats also model for pet-couture labels, in an elegant wardrobe we are all envious of. Alongside the kittens we publish plain-English guides to living with hairless cats — bathing, skin and blackheads, warmth and clothing, diet, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and health testing, and how the Sphynx, Donskoy and Peterbald actually differ — written from a working cattery and shared with owners across the United States.
